Everyone was up on time :) we began construction on Argentina's house at 8am and worked until 12. The sun came out today-hot!! The heat index was easily 100 by 10am. Have you ever made your own concrete? We have. Santos Mungia, the president of Amenia Bonito, and experienced construction professional tutored us in the art of laying Honduran bloce'. (block) The ladies were awesome and of course did most of the work! The men SWEATED heavily, but the ladies only glistened. Did you know that glisten actually drips.
The afternoon was filled with good fellowship, cold pepsi, and hands on, one on one, teaching of English as a second language to 15 kids.
All in all a great day was concluded with dinner at the Clows with homemade tortillas and a killer key lime pie.
